SciKon's current research efforts include:

  1. Transitioning non-useable steatotic (fatty) human livers into quality hepatic products.
  2. "Gene Signatures" by categorizing natural liver disease cell architectures across donor demographics.
  3. Improved human primary hepatocyte systems using a liver-derived matrix.
  4. Reliable human cell-based models.
  5. Biocompatible matrices for improved cryopreservation of human hepatocytes.

  4. Computational modeling for hepatic cell support.
  5. 3D hepatic models for pharmaceutical drug developments.
