- Safety: Treat as potentially infectious. These products are for research use only. They are not approved for human or veterinary use, or for in vitro diagnostic procedures.
- Serology histories come with each product lot. Original tissues have been tested negative for (A) HIV-1, HIV-2, HbsAG, HbcAB, HCV, and RPR, or (B) HIV, HBV, HCV; noted on the Certificate of Analysis (CofA). Some lots are positive for CMV and EBV.
- De-identified background histories are also available, to include: age, gender, race, BMI, diabetic, hypertensive, steatotic levels, and others.
- Each tissue is uniquely different and provides opportunities to harness naturally occurring in vivo structures to support in vitro studies.
- Tissues are obtained via the gift of tissue and organ donation for research advancements in medical science.
